2016 Daumen Cotes du Rhone

Totally opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Elevated black cherry and ripe black raspberry aromas intermix with liquorice, scorched earth, dried herbs and peppered meats. Medium to full bodied the palate is blessed with rich black cherry and liquorice fruit which sits atop scorched earth, herbs de Provence and spicy pepper elements. Ripe chewy tannins firm up the finish. Spicy aftertaste of ripe black cherries, liquorice, scorched earth, herbs de Provence and pepper.
Cellar 3-4 years.
