2016 Clarendelle

A blend of 84% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Cabernet Franc. Totally opaque black as night heart with a dark red black tinged hue. Lifted ripe blackcurrant and dark cherry aromas mix with vanillin cedar, dusty earth, faint tobacco and spice notes. Medium bodied the palate features red to dark currant and red cherry flavours over spicy cedar, dusty earth and tobacco characters. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins and an elegant mid length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
