Totally opaque midnight black heart with a dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of tobacco leaf overlay dark currant, dried herbs, black olive and hints of capsicum. Medium bodied and elegant and refined feel, flavours of blackcurrant and black olive mix with cedary tobacco characters, dried herbs and spice. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins and a medium length aftertaste.

In spite of the ripeness, the rich black fruit and the baking spices character, this is fresh and transparent. Fine tannins build gently on the clean finish. Drink or hold.
