Totally opaque dark purple black colour with a bright dark purple hue. Scented aromatics of blackcurrant and a hint of dark chocolate laced with bay leaf rise from the glass followed by cedary tobacco characters and spice. Medium bodied with an amply fruited mid palate, flavours of blackcurrant and a touch of ripe mulberry run into some cedary tobacco characters and a faint infusion of bay leaf. Spicy finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of spicy blackcurrant, cedary tobacco characters and a light touch of bay leaf.
