2016 Billy Brand Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

Dense inky black colour with a deep dark red black hue. Intense ripe blackcurrant scents flood the nostrils with notions of liquorice, toasty vanillin cedar, tobacco and spicy bay leaf also chiming in. Full in body and carrying an opulent feel the palate is engulfed with rich blackcurrant and liquorice fruits. Toasty vanillin cedar, earthy tobacco characters and infusions of mint lie underneath. Polished tannin structure concluding long, generously textured and spicy. A rich, weighty Coonawarra Cabernet.
