2016 Beronia Tempranillo

Aged for 9 months in mixed oak barrels of American staves and French tops. Deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Nosing offers up lifted dark ripe cherry and plum scents followed by hints of liquorice, vanillin oak, light earth and spice. Medium bodied with a soft fleshy feel the palate dishes up juicy dark cherry and ripe plum flavours over a background of vanillin oak, earth and spice. Good fresh finish with velvety tannins and a medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
