2016 Benanti Etna Rosso

Produced from Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grapes. Bright dark red core with subtle tinges of black to the edges and a light brick red hue. Aromas of ripe red cherries and raspberries intermingle with hints of red liquorice, earthy graphite like notes and delicate pepper. Light in body the elegant palate features spicy red cherry and raspberry fruits over scorched earth, subtle graphite and pepper. Fresh vibrant acidity and faintly grippy tannins provide structure. Medium length aftertaste.
