Semi translucent dark red colour with a light crimson red hue. Fragrant ripe strawberry and cherry aromas are followed by traces of anise, earthy rhubarb and spice. Light in body the palate has flavours of cherries and rhubarb over light earthy cedar and spice. Slightly dryish finish with finely grained tannins. Moderately powered with an aftertaste of ripe cherries, rhubarb, faint earth and spicy cedar.
