2016 Baillieu Pinot Gris

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a faint tinge of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Fresh pear and Jonathan apple aromas are delicately overlaid with hints of musk and quince. Lively palate with good richness and some texture to the mouthfeel featuring ripe pear, red apple and honeysuckle flavours infused with musk. Some spice following on the fresh dry finish. Medium to long aftertaste of spicy ripe pears, musk and subtle honeysuckle.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
