2016 Avanzi Montecorno Rebo

Rebo is a dark skinned cross of Merlot and Teroldego grapes. Dense black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Elevated dried cherry and liquorice aromas mix with old vanillin oak, earth and spicy leather notes. Rich black cherry, liquorice and dried cherry flavours carry an opulent feel over an earthy leather, vanillin oak and cinnamon spice back drop. Ripe, slightly chewy tannins with a generously fruited yet rustic like aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
