Excellent colour displaying a totally opaque black dark red core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Rising from the glass are inky blackberry and liquorice scents followed by vanillin cedar, earth and light blackpepper. Medium bodied the palate is amply endowed with richness featuring juicy blackberry and liquorice flavours over inky earth characters and spicy vanillin cedar. Slightly dryish but fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of inky blackberries, liquorice, earth, spicy vanillin cedar and a hint of blackpepper.
