2015 Zonte's Footstep Hills Are Alive Shiraz

A richly flavoured Adelaide Hills Shiraz that’s full of luscious black fruits.

Superb colour displaying an impenetrable inky black core with a deep dark purple black hue. Luscious black cherry, blackberry and liquorice aromas engulf the senses with ensuing smoky cedar, fennel and blackpepper notes. Full bodied with a lush textural feel the palate is filled with rich succulent black cherry and liquorice fruit which melds into smoky vanillin cedar finishing with a burst of blackpepper. The opulence of the fruit marrying beautifully to the sturdy yet velvet like tannin framework. Long aftertaste of juicy black cherries, liquorice, smoky vanillin cedar and blackpepper.
