Sourced from 31 rows off 115+yo vines in sandy soil. Opaque, garnet-red with bright red hues. Ripe blackberry and blackcurrant fruit, some allspice and mocha, then a wave of brown spice and coconut from its 18 months' maturation in 100% new oak. Tannins are grainy adding a savoury appeal on the finish. Time required to settle the oak.
