2015 Tatiarra Cambrian Shiraz Museum Release

In 2000 Domaines Tatiarra was established by Nick Chlebnikowski & Bill Spring (now both sadly passed away), two highly motivated and creative individuals with a passion to create a benchmark Australian Shiraz. No longer in production, the Domaines Tatiarra rose to lofty heights during its existence receiving widespread critical acclaim. With nearly 10 years of bottle age behind it this is an excellent introduction to aged Heathcote Shiraz.

A Dense, power-packed Heathcote Shiraz

Impenetrable inky black heart with a very deep dark red black tinged hue. Sailing out of the glass are aromas of liquorice and blackberry which are complexed by toasty oak, black olive, scorched earth, fennel and blackpepper. Rich, weighty and opulently textured, the palate is a concentrate of liquorice, blackberry and dark plum fruit. Spicy vanillin oak, scorched earth, fennel and blackpepper elements lie underneath. Dense and power packed the velvety yet robust structure has become more integrated since our original tasting. Concludes long, deeply fruited and peppery.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
