2015 Raidis Estate Billy Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Scented aromatics of ripe blackcurrant and mulberries laced with cedary tobacco characters flow through the nostrils followed by black olives and subtlety spiced dried herb end notes. Medium bodied the palate has a strong cedary tobacco component which over shadows a touch the blackcurrant and mulberry fruit. Also present are dried herbs, black olives and spice. Dry earthy tannins have a slightly chalky feel to them and compact the finish. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, earthy black olives, cedary tobacco characters and spicy dried herbs.
