2015 Pencarrow Pinot Noir

A fullish Martinborough Pinot decked out with ripe succulent fruit - great entry level drinking.

Aged in French oak for 11 months with 27% being new. Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright dark red hue. On the nose perfumed violet top notes are followed by dark cherry, ripe strawberry, dark plum and spicy anise aromas. Possessing excellent weight, abundant rich dark fruits and plenty of power a combination of ripe dark cherry, strawberry and dark plum flavours infused with anise generously fill the mouth over some toasty oak and spice. Supple mid palate with velvety tannins and a long conclusion of spice, ripe dark cherries, dark plums, anise and toasty oak.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
