2015 Jones Road Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. The nose offers up aromas of ripe white peaches and a touch of apricot married to dried honey, toasty oak and citrusy nougat characters. Showing good richness and a deft balance between the creamy textural feel and fresh finish the palate dishes up generous flavours of fleshy white peaches and nectarines which are overlaid by dried honey. Subtle toasty oak infusions and citrusy nougat ensue. Medium to long aftertaste of ripe white peaches, nectarines, dried honey, light toasty oak and citrusy nougat.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
