2015 Hentley Farm The Rogue Field Blend

Produced from 45% Grenache, 18% Mataro, 15% Shiraz, 12% Zinfandel and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep dark red black colour with a dark crimson red hue. Aromas of ripe black raspberries, liquorice and ripe black cherries emerge from the glass followed by some light earth and spice. Juicy medium bodied flavours of black raspberries, liquorice and ripe black cherries are to the fore with ensuing spicy scorched earth characters. Round fleshy textural feel with velvet smooth tannins. Long spicy aftertaste of black raspberries, liquorice, ripe black cherries and light scorched earth. A delicious blend to drink over the next 4-5 years.
