2015 Dexter Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. Scented white peach aromas meld into some dried honey and nougat with underlying cashew and spice also present. Rich and almost creamy like in texture yet possessing an elegant freshness the palate is amply endowed with flavours of ripe white peaches intermixed with citrusy honeyed characters over some cashew, nougat and spice. The core of fruit showing off excellent intensity without being weighty. Clean dry finish with perfectly balanced acidity. Great length concluding with a long aftertaste of white peach, honeyed citrus, nougat and spicy cashew. Will only get better with some bottle age behind it.
