Opaque black purple colour with a dark purple hue. Freshly crushed blackberry, plum juice and liquorice aromas overlay inky vanillin cedar and spice. Medium bodied with a plush mid palate, flavours of juicy dark plums, blackberries and liquorice meld into some vanillin oak and spice. Slightly dryish finish with youthful acidity and solidly constructed yet almost velvet like tannins. Aftertaste of dark plum, liquorice, vanillin oak and spice.
