Looking for something a little controversial for your next tasting event? This could be it. A bottling that has intrigued more than a few. It's not your typical Ruby Port profile, rather capturing an unusual earthy character. The expected red fruits remain present though not exactly popping out. Lots of oak spice, too. The outturn equates to 360 bottles 50% Alc.Vol. Non chill filtered.

Other reviews... I'm giving this whisky a STRONG 88, but only for one reason: This whisky has an aroma, both on the nose and on the palate, that I can barely identify. I've tasted quite a few whiskies in my life, but I've never encountered a bottle with such a "strange" flavor profile. I wouldn't call it delicious... but it's highly intriguing! A brief update after the second glass: I would say the taste is most similar to damp earth. This note is already slightly present in the nose, but then quite pronounced in the taste. - whiskybase.com
