Totally opaque black dark red colour with a bright dark red hue. Fresh blackberry and plum aromas merge into some inky liquorice followed by vanillin cedar and blackpepper. Medium to full bodied the fruit has a sense of vitality and freshness to it with juicy blackberry and plum flavours supported by vibrant acidity. Liquorice, vanillin oak and spicy pepper characters ensue. Very finely grained tannins are largely undiscernible. Aftertaste of fresh juicy blackberries, plums, liquorice, vanillin oak and spicy pepper.
