2015 Ata Rangi Petrie Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a glimmer of green around the edges and a watery hue. Pronounced fresh nectarine and grapefruit aromas are married to hints of gun flint, citrusy honey nuances, lemon butter, nougat and spice. Medium to full bodied a rich creamy like mouthfeel is counterpointed by fresh citrus acidity which gives the wine a lively feel. Flavours of nectarine and grapefruit are married to subtle flinty matchstick characters, lemon butter, nougat and subtle dried honey. Dry vibrant finish with a long aftertaste of ripe nectarine, lemon butter, dried honey, citrusy nougat and gun flint.
