Sourced from low yielding gnarly bush vines aged between 35-80 years. Translucent bright ruby red colour with a crimson red hue. Ripe dark raspberry and plum aromas are to the fore followed by some vanillin confectionary and spice. Light to medium weight the palate has juicy dark raspberry and plum flavours over a faint hint of earth and spice. Dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark raspberry, plum, subtle earth and spice.
