Dense inky black heart with a deep dark red black hue. Aromas of liquorice and black cherry meet up with earthy graphite like notes, smoked meats and distinct blackpepper. Medium bodied with a robust feel, black cherry and liquorice flavours are overtaken by scorched earth, leather and peppered dried meats on the back half. Stern, drying tannin structure with bright acidity and a tightly wound aftertaste.
