Deep dark red colour with a crimson red hue. The nose displays raspberry jam and ripe plum top notes followed by a hint of liquorice, very lightly scorched earth and spice aromas. Medium bodied the palate possesses a soft supple texture with fleshy flavours of dark raspberry and ripe plum overlaying some liquorice and faint earth finishing spicy. Velvet smooth tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of dark raspberries, joosy plum, liquorice, subtle earth and spice. A youthful joosy Mataro.
