2014 Sorrenberg Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

Brilliant pale straw colour with a greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. The nose displays aromas of pear intermixed with some dried honey characters with a light grassy asparagus overlay and some faint fresh herb end notes. Medium bodied with a full rounded textural feel the palate features flavours of ripe pear and some grassy asparagus characters over a background of dried honey, fresh herb infusions and subtle spicy cedar. Clean dry finish. Aftertaste of pear, dried honey, grassy asparagus and spicy cedar.
