2014 Morambro Creek Chardonnay

Matured for 12 months in new and seasoned French oak barrels. Brilliant straw colour with a pale straw hue. Aromas of white peaches and apricot intermix with honeycomb over a lightly toasted oak and spicy nougat background. Rich peach and tropical fruit flavours laced with honeycomb are wrapped up in a creamy mid palate textural feel followed by subtle toast, nougat and citrus which lends to the feeling of freshness on the dry finish. Aftertaste of peaches, apricots, honeycomb, lightly spiced toast and citrusy nougat.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
