2014 Mahi Twin Valleys Vineyard Chardonnay

Brilliant straw coloured core with a greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. Showing excellent intensity, aromas of ripe peaches layered with honeycomb and butterscotch drift out of the glass followed by some creamy cashew and spicy nougat. Big, rich and textured yet retaining good freshness on the finish, the palate is lathered with a creamy mouthfeel and features mouthfilling flavours of ripe peaches and apricots that merge into some honeycomb and butterscotch with an undercard of roasted almonds, nougat and spice. Excellent length with a long generous aftertaste of ripe peaches, honeycomb, butterscotch, spicy nougat and subtle roasted almond characters.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
