2014 Longline Blood Knot Shiraz

Sourced from McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills. Opaque dark purple black colour with a bright purple hue. Plum and liquorice aromas overlay some scorched earth and subtle incense with peppery dried herb end notes. Medium bodied and quite elegant the palate has flavours of plum and liquorice which meld into some earthy dried meat characters and dried herb infusions. Dryish finish with fresh acidity and slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of fresh plums, liquorice, subtle earth, spicy vanillin cedar and dried herbs.
