Semi translucent dark red colour with a light red to brick red hue. Fragrantly scented nose with aromatics of ripe dark raspberries, strawberry jam, dark plum and liquorice unfurling from the glass with ensuing vanillin confectionary and spice. Light to medium weight but rich and juicy the palate is filled with succulent flavours of ripe dark raspberries, plum and liquorice over vanillin oak with a spicy backdrop. Velvet smooth tannins. Long spicy dark raspberry, dark plum, liquorice and earthy vanillin oak aftertaste.
