2014 Dalwhinnie Moonambel Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with hints of green around the edges and a watery hue. Showing excellent intensity the nose offers up aromas of peaches intermixed with honeyed nougat and cashew followed by light butterscotch and spice end notes. Rich and creamy in texture yet not overweight the palate features mouthfilling flavours of delicate white peaches, dried honey, nougat and cashew over some biscuity nuttiness and spice. Finishes dry with sufficient acidity to keep everything balanced. Excellent length with a long conclusion of cashew, dried honey, nougat and biscuity spice.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
