2014 Dalgety Caol Ila Small Batch 9 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Another addition to the Dalgety range, a label that pays tribute to Dalgety Bay, the home of Hannah Whisky Merchants. Two casks of this classic Islay distillate have been treated to two finishing years in Italian Amarone barriques. Powerful, winey and replete with dark red fruits and Summer pudding, the phenols only intensify at the last. One Caol Ila where peat isn't the main feature. Wonderfully mouth-filling, regardless. 404 bottles are on offer. 50.5% Alc./Vol.
