2014 Carta Vieja Prestige Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Lifted blackcurrant aromas intermingle with tobacco leaf and a faint hint of capsicum followed by spicy cedar. Rich blackcurrant flavours are infused with cedary tobacco characters on the medium to full bodied palate. Underneath are dried herbs, lightly scorched earth and spice. Dryish finish with sturdy tannins providing some grip on the back palate. Long aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, cedary tobacco characters, earthy black olive and spicy dried herbs.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
