2014 Calibre Malbec

Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Drifting through the nostrils are uplifted scents of dark plum, hints of liquorice and dark chocolate followed by earthy vanillin oak and dried herb notes. Rich dark plum and dark chocolate flavours meld into toasty vanillin oak, earth and dried herbs. Juicy front palate, then drying out towards the finish with slightly chalky, grainy tannins. Aftertaste of plum, dried herbs, subtle dark chocolate and toasty oak.
Cellar 2-3 years.
