2014 Black Cottage Reserve Chardonnay

Fermented and aged in 100% French oak barrels for 11 months. Bright straw colour with a watery hue. Ripe peach and honeycomb characters jump out of the glass followed by some butterscotch, biscuity oak and citrusy nougat. Light to medium weight with a creamy like textural feel the palate features flavours of ripe peaches melded to honeycomb and butterscotch characters with citrusy nougat and faint spice on the fresh finish. Aftertaste of light butterscotch, honeycomb, biscuity nougat, cashew and citrus.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
