2014 Best's Great Western Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque black purple colour with a bright purple hue. The nose reveals aromas of blackcurrant and mulberry with a tobacco overlay followed by cedar and spice. Elegant and youthful the palate has inky blackcurrant and mulberry flavours over some subtle black olive, cedary tobacco characters and spice. Dry finish with slightly chalky tannins and bright fresh acidity. Aftertaste of inky blackcurrant, cedar, subtle black olive and spice. Another example of wine that has been released too early. It will improve and become more approachable with bottle age.
