Totally opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of liquorice and blackberries are overlaid by toasty oak followed by a subtle meatiness and some blackpepper. Medium bodied the palate has fleshy textured flavours of dark plums and liquorice infused with smoky oak over a subtle meatiness and spicy pepper. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, dark plums, smoky oak, dried meats and blackpepper.
