2014 Baron Ricasoli Chianti

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark crimson red hue. Aromas of dark cherries infused with cedar are followed by some faint earth with spice end notes. Light in body weight and quite savoury the palate has flavours of red and dark cherries with a cedary overlay and underlying earthy tobacco characters and spice. Fine grained, slightly dryish tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries, cedar, earthy tobacco and spice.
Cellar 2-3 years.
