Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Top notes of ripe black cherries and black raspberries are followed by some liquorice, incense, faint scorched earth notes and spice. Light to medium weight with a dry chewy finish the palate has flavours of black cherries, liquorice and faint incense infusions followed by a burst of spicy pepper. Chewy, slightly chalky tannins. Spicy aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice and pepper.
