Opaque dark purple black colour with a crimson red purple hue. Aromas of black raspberry and liquorice are intermixed with incense followed by some light meatiness and spice. Medium bodied the palate is filled with ripe black raspberry and subtle liquorice flavours over a background of scorched earth and spice. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of black raspberries, scorched earth, dried meats and spicy pepper.
