2013 Seppelt Jaluka Chardonnay

Brilliant very pale straw almost water like colour with a faint greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. Fragrant aromas of white peach intermixed with cashew are followed by nougat, dried honey and faint spice. Medium bodied with a slightly creamy, elegant mouthfeel the palate has flavours of white peach, nectarine, cashew, biscuity nougat and spice. Clean dry finish. Aftertaste of white peach, cashew, biscuit and spicy nougat.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.

Jaluka comes partly from the Drumborg Vineyard and from other vineyards in the very cool Henty region. Barrel-fermented in French oak, it is notably complex and mouthfilling, but doesn't lose focus, its plethora of fruit flavours anchored by natural acidity.
