2013 Rutherglen Estates Red Shiraz Durif

Opaque black crimson colour with a dark crimson purple hue. The nose displays a bouquet of ripe dark cherries, dark plums and liquorice over a background of light toast and vanillin confectionary. Soft and velvety in texture the medium weighted palate has fleshy flavours of liquorice and dark plums followed by spicy vanillin oak. Velvet smooth tannins with an aftertaste of liquorice, dark plums and spicy toasted vanillin oak.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
