2013 Pencarrow Pinot Noir

Excellent depth of colour displaying a deep dark red black tinged core with a purple red hue. Meaty ripe dark cherry aromas are intermixed with some anise followed by smoky cedar and spice. Medium bodied and quite savoury the palate has good richness featuring flavours of ripe dark cherries, plums and anise over some meaty characters and spicy toasty cedar. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, dark plums, anise and spicy toasty cedar.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
