2013 O’Leary Walker Watervale Riesling Museum Release

Bright straw colour with a watery hue. Aromas of lime, bees wax and citrus are complexed by oily toast, subtle kerosene and spice notes. Still retaining its freshness the palate sees lime and citrus flavours meld into oily toast like characters, traces of bees wax and kerosene on the back half. Finishes dry with crisp acidity and a long aftertaste that’s beginning to take on an oily like feel.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.

Light straw-green; all the cliches: classic, pure, etc, can be legitimately used for this beautifully balanced mouthful of lime, lemon and citrus zest, underwritten by minerally acidity on its lingering finish - and its long future. Drink by 2023.
