2013 O’Leary Walker Polish Hill River Riesling Museum Release
Lime and lemon fruits complimented by tertiary elements with crisp acidity and a gentle waxy feel.
Brilliant yellow straw colour with a watery hue. Lime, lemon oil and toast scents drift from the glass with plenty of intensity trailed by some bees wax, kerosene and spice notes. Lime and lemon fruits are complimented by toast, bees wax, kerosene and wet steel elements. Crisp acidity lends tension. Finishes dry and fresh with a gentle waxy feel emerging.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
Alc. 12%
Other Reviews…..
Bright, gleaming green-straw; has that extra degree of precision that Polish Hill River seems to always confer, and an intensity that is light on its feet; the slatey acidity is yet another marker that comes through strongly in this lime and lemon-accented wine thanks to extremely low pH.
