2013 Oakridge Local Vineyard Series Oakridge Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured for 16 months in 225 litre French oak barrels. Deep dark red black tinged colour with a bright dark crimson red hue. Fragrant aromas of red currants and mulberries are intermixed with hints of violets followed by subtle cedary tobacco characters and spice. Elegant, yet very flavoursome and quite Bordeaux like in personality the palate has a savoury profile of red currants, dark cherries and mulberries underpinned by dusty cedar, some light tobacco characters and spice. Very fine grained perfectly integrated tannins. Long aftertaste of redcurrants, ripe mulberries, lightly dusted cedar, faint tobacco and spice.
