2013 Mollydooker The Boxer Shiraz

Totally opaque inky black core with a deep dark purple black hue. Ripe dark plum, blackberry and liquorice aromas bound from the glass followed by some toasty vanillin oak and spice. Rich and lavish with a voluptuous texture the palate features a flamboyant flavour profile of ripe blackberry and dark plum followed by some liquorice with a toasty oak overlay and spicy finish. Velvet smooth tannins. Superb power and richness with long dark plum, ripe blackberry, liquorice and spicy toasty oak aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years (2014-2020).
