Aged in old oak for 14 months. Opaque dark red black in colour with a dark brick red hue. Pronounced aniseed top notes are trailed by stewed plum, dried herb, leather and peppered earth notes. Soft and fleshy the medium to full bodied palate features generous aniseed and black plum fruits over earthy leather and peppered dried meat characters. Velvet smooth tannins with an earthy leather driven aftertaste.
