2013 Edradour Bourbon Cask Matured 12 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

While not super-complex, these cask-strength Ibisco bottlings intend to show off another side of Edradour. They're for those who enjoy a big vanilla hit, accompanied by citrus, honey and hints of Bourbon in a chewy setting. Typically needing several drops of water to open up and tame the heat, experimenting with dilution is part of the fun. Water tends to expand the mouthfeel and extend the lingering oak sweetness. The youngest component was distilled in August 2013, so liquid slightly older than 12 years old will also be included here. Eight casks yielded 1628 bottles at 60.7% Alc./Vol. Non-chill filtered.
